Educo Programme

The EduCo Programme is one of our several initiatives, launched in September 2024, it aims to tackle the multifaceted challenges that impede quality education and holistic development of children and young people in Nigeria and Africa. Various factors such as poverty, neglect, emotional stress, abuse, lack of good uniforms, clean water, and electricity significantly impact the educational and personal growth of children. A 2020 study highlighted that over 70% of the poorest children in Nigeria, Mali, Niger, and Guinea do not attend school. Sub-Saharan Africa holds the highest illiteracy rate globally, with Nigeria having around 130 million people classified as impoverished, severely limiting educational access. Despite existing efforts by governments and nonprofits, there are still over 20 million out-of-school children in Nigeria alone. The EduCo Project is designed to address these pressing issues and provide sustainable solutions.
